Dear reader friends,
June 21st marks the Summer Solstice. Hot
summer days have arrived here in Venice, but the
aquamarine waters of the Gulf are so refreshing!
The solstice full moon was unusually big and colorful
this week. No wonder the
Ancient Celts celebrated Albar
Heruin, “Light of the Shore” at solstice time. Light
(moonlight that is) is celebrated in my second book of
The Maine Shore Chronicles, MOONGLADE.
Exciting things are happening.
The cover for Moonglade has arrived. Isn't it
beautiful! I can hardly wait
to receive the galley from the publisher this fall, and
I promise to share a chapter of Moonglade here on my
website!
Moonglade follows FINDING FIONA, and news arrived this
week about Finding Fiona. More exciting news ! It was
reviewed on the internet by “Long and Short Reviews” and
their rating system gave it 4 ˝ out of a possible 5.
There is a website for Long and Short Reviews but you can find the review here on my site when
you click on BOOK page.
The third book of the trilogy is a work in progress,
hopefully to be finished by the time of my fall letter.
I look forward to a summer of writing, reading and a bit
of fun, visiting family and promoting my books. Until
next time, I wish you sunshine, happiness and good
summer reading.
Mary
